These photos was taken at Pinipisakan Falls in Las Navas Northern Samar. The place just takes your breath away and makes you want to jump in the river immediately! 😍

Once you get there I'm sure you'll be mesmerized with the torquise colored water and the serenity of the place. The water is quite cold and it isn't advisable to swim there if you dont know how to, we actually had to rent a floating cottage  (in the picture), "salbabidas" and lifejacket in order to swim. The stress of travelling for almost 3 hrs is definitely worth it. :)  💪

During this time we took the fastest route using the rough road thru habal-habal by renting one in the main town of Las Navas for 300 pesos (of corz it includes the driver), 😂 you have to make the driver wait for you bcoz you won't find vehicles near the place. (you have to walk to the nearest barangay which is San Isidro to find a vehicle to take you back to the town proper).

 






These are the latest pictures of Pinipisakan taken this April. During this time, we have taken the long route by using "baluto" or small boat. It is a one hour travel from the main town of Las Navas, the locals even told us that it is the last stop over of the boat ride. (the last barangay: as what they've told us).
If you're are not from Northern Samar, there is a daily airplane flight from Manila to Catarman early in the morning with PAL or you can take a 16 hrs bus ride from Cubao, if your on a limited budget. From Catarman you have to either ride a van in Turbanada for 150 pesos which will take you directly to the town proper of Las Navas or  ride a jeepney in Catarman Terminal (unsure about the exact fare).
Upon arriving in the town proper of Las Navas, you have two options: Ride a boat to Brgy. San isidro or take a habal-habal motorcycle directly to Pinipisakan falls; you can ride either way.
(Rapelling and kayaks are also available on certain times although the contacts and information of the one in-charge isn't available)

A quick reminder for those who will  visit the place: 
♢Make sure you bring with you, your foods, drinks and equipment bcoz you wont find any nearby stores around.
♢Do not leave any trashes or properly throw your garbages in the trash cans available. Observe cleanliness in order to preserve the river.
♢Maintain the quiteness and serenity of the place.
♢Avoid diving if you dont know how to swim. Use lifejackets for children and adult who doesnt know how to swim ( such as myself).

Visiting this place is highly recommended for those who love adventures and seek fantastic memories with friends, Pinipisakan falls is the right place for you. ;)

Welcome to Hibabalayan falls of Lope De Vega, Northern Samar. An almost 3 hrs of hiking from the main road of Lope De Vega, passing these coconut tree bridges along the way. Before arriving at Hibabalayan falls, you'll have to go through three or more rivers (I can't recall the exact number) and a remote barangay where the people are friendly and hospitable. (They even offered us water and corn for snacks) The water is not that clear during our visit but still worth it. Our local tour guide even told us that during rainy season the water in Hibabalayan falls isn't that muddy. See you next time :) This is the falls above Hibabalayan. You'll have to trek the left side of the falls in order to climb here. A fantastic view awaits you. My barkadas are the best people in the world. Here we strike a pose for a memory that would last a lifetime. :)

Bangon Falls of San Roque, Northern Samar

In the picture, we have to wear maong pants to avoid scratches and insect bites along the tricky path. Here's a picture of the bridge on the way to our destination. Say "HI" to our small tourguides. "The Hikers" An unforgettable "buwis buhay" path before arriving at our purpose. 1st stop: Another falls we encounter before arriving at Bangon. Welcome to Bangon falls. An unexplored beauty in the heart of San Roque. Relaxing from an almost 2 hrs hiking and feeling the vibes of the place. A diving spot for adventure seekers ;) "The monkeys" My epic "buwis buhay jump" where I almost expired. Thanks heaven for answering my prayers. Jealousy had taken over me so badly, I needed to jump, I owe my life to that amazing stick. ;
