Hanging Garden in Antipolo

Infinity Pool @Luljetta's Hanging Garden

Hello Beshys!

The first Hanging Garden in the Philippines and the latest addition to the main attractions of Loreland Farm: a well known destination in Antipolo. They call it Luljetta which I always mispronounced, located in Brgy. San Roque, Antipolo City, Philippines. It is literally seated on the edge of a cliff hanging on a mountainside with an epic view of Manila's skyline, where Antipolo City is well known for.

For the trip, it was supposedly  a surprise birthday escapade for my one true love (CHOS). It was actually planned as a surprise but due to my "kadaldalan", he eventually figured it out days before it even happened. So much for my surprise birthday gift! :(

First thing to do, if you have plans to visit  the place is to book a reservations by visiting their website www.bienvenidos.com or Reservations@loreland.com.ph. They accommodate walk in guests, but it is highly encouraged to reserve a week before going to avoid any inconvenience.

Aside from their amenities and infinity pools they offer different services namely: body scrubs, massages, private pool party and pre-nup photo shoots. I was not an avid fan of massages and scrubs so I opted for a Hanging Garden Retreat which cost P1,100. Quite pricey for a 5 hours Hanging Garden experience but was definitely worth it.

Took some pictures before heading inside Luljetta's Garden.

Happily Ever After starts here!

Upon arrival at the main gate of Loreland Farm and Resort you should tell the resort personnel that you have a prior reservation at Luljetta's. Next, you have to register where a paper (not sure what they call it) will be given to you. This, together with your Bank Deposit slip will be presented at the Luljetta's reception area. While walking inside the compound, you can find Casa Verde: their main restaurant and few meters to the left side is the entrance to Luljetta's.

The receptionists in Luljetta are kind and accommodating. Upon arrival they would offer you a complimentary snack and meal depending on the package you have choosen.  They usually serve their specialty Suman with lemon grass drink as a welcome snack inside their cafe.
Luljetta's cafe (as shown in the picture below) has a breathtaking view overlooking Antipolo City. And as expected, it was indeed delicious, since I have never tasted a fried suman with mango and peanuts before. (It's called "Linatikan" in Samar by the way)

In the locker room, they would give u a basket with traditional Batik bathrobe and towel for use. You need to wear your swimsuit and wear slippers before going to the pool area. (See their website for complete facility regulations). You can also borrow slippers from them if you don't have one with you, like in our case.

They have 3 main pools; two infinity pools and the one with hydro massage in it. They also have a heated jaccuzi and a cute Sauna beside it. The fish spa just above the hydro massage pool has quite large fishes in it mostly tilapia. (see pictures above)

My experience in Luljetta is invigorating, definitely an escape from the city stressors. It was a combination of comfort and relaxation blended with an ethnic music transporting you to another dimension. (Another dimension was an exaggeration, but it was one of a kind)

Another thing to commend with, is their limited number of guest (maybe that's why it is quite pricey to avoid people from flocking in, thereby preserving the place. Haha (It was just an assumption PEACE!).I can only see few people about 2-3 couples walking around the area which makes it more serene. In short, if privacy is your concern, then Luljetta is definitely a place for you.

Lounge overlooking the pool

The only downfall I have noticed is the hydro massage pool which doesn't even provide a good back massage and their steep stairs, not suitable for aged people and children. Nevertheless, it was an awesome experience ranked 8 out of 10. :)

Take a quick shower before plunging in the pool.

The view at my back is simply breathtaking.

Zen Lounge

The Zen Lounge caught my attention. It is ethnic inspired room with a statue of buddha perfect for meditation and yoga moments.😉

The trip to Antipolo takes 1 to 1.5 hours depending on the traffic situation. Once you've  reached Antipolo Church, you need to ride a tricycle to Loreland Farm. The place is quite accessible since majority of tricycle drivers know it.
